**Main purpose/function of job**

Complete duties to ensure facilities are kept clean and presentable at all times.

Company driver when required.

**Main duties (including supervisory and task responsibilities)**
- Monitor and liaise with colleagues to keep the factory floor clean, tidy and free of obstructions.
- Support colleagues with machine and equipment cleaning.
- Assisting with topping up machine oil and coolant.
- Support colleagues to adopt good housekeeping practice.
- Collect scrap waste and store ready for collection in line with company policies.
- Collecting general waste and safely dispose in line with company policies.
- Keeping car parks well maintained on both sites.
- Office cleaning.
- Use of rumbling machine.
- Report to Operations Manager on any non-conformance events with regards to safety in the work environment.
- Monthly clean of windows.
- Report to line manager if the machine/tool broke down during your shift.
- Do not attempt to amend machine/tool on your own.
- Damaged tools must be disposed in accordance with company policies and not left on a side.
- Company driver if required.
- Forklift training will be provided if required.
- Personal phones are not allowed to be used during work. Expecting of any urgent phone calls should be reported to line manager.
- Smoking is permitted only during breaks.

**Desired skills and experience**
- Full GB driving licence.
- A good understanding of 5S in the work place.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Effective and confident communication skills.
- Effective Team player.
- Ability to take a systematic approach to daily operations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Clear understanding of confidentiality.
- Organised and is able to multi task.
- Motivated to achieve results to a desired standard.
- Ability to understand and work within company guidelines as set out in corporate policies.
- Positive, energetic individual with a can-do attitude, capable of contributing significantly as part of the production team.
- Be able to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations.

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
