**Job description** Production Operative required for a busy manufacturing company based in Leighton Buzzard, previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse would be preferable.

Full training provided.

Job Statement:

- You will work as part of a team and operate, monitor and maintain all areas of the tile manufacturing process to ensure that our products are made to the

highest quality standards. In this role you will directly contribute to the overall performance of the Plant by playing a vital role in achieving the daily
production volume targets. You will be expected to operate at a safe and efficient standard at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

- Adherence to Health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Operating and maintaining Production line machinery, equipment and

mobile plant.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness by taking

full ownership of your working area.
- Regular quality control monitoring and recording through both visual

and physical inspection of products.
- Identification and safe resolution of Breakdowns and quality issues in

partnership with the Maintenance team.
- Proactively report safety and quality issues as soon as they are discovered

Essential Skills/qualifications:

- Knowledge and experience of working on a production line.
- Basic maths and English skills,
- Basic writing skills.
- Good standard of verbal communication.
- Team player.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain high standards of quality and safety

£652 per week before tax if all 4 shifts are completed

There is overtime available

4 out of 7 days per week.

Alternating weekly day and night shift patterns

12 hour day shifts

Shifts can include weekends

**Although this role is a 3 month contract, there is a possibility that the role is made permanent**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: £652.00 per week
