**Lewis Business Recovery and Insolvency are looking to recruit a bright and enthusiastic trainee insolvency executive who is willing to learn and progress their career in business recovery and insolvency, within our growing and vibrant firm.**

**Main job purpose**

To work within a team to ensure a professional offering of business recovery and insolvency services is provided to our clients.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Support case executives, managers and directors in the progression of insolvency cases
- Prepare accurate books and records inventories, and taking responsibility for the safeguard, removal and storage of such from company premises
- Analysis of case documents as required
- Complete appropriate banking and cheque request forms in order to ensure that client estate monies are handled and dealt with correctly
- Supporting cashier with bank reconciliations, journals, payment requests, receipts and client banking regulations
- Adhere to statutory compliance and current legislation, best practice and procedures under supervision
- Liaising with creditors, including gathering information on retention of title, secured, preferential and unsecured claims
- Adjudicating claims and distributing funds to creditors
- Assisting with investigations, analysis of accounts, transactions and enquiries
- Attendance on site at clients as and when required
- Reporting to creditors, shareholders, banks and other stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain excel spread sheets, and providing analysis of data
- Carrying out other specific case related tasks

**Skills and requirements**
- IT literacy skills (including MS Word and Excel)
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Good command of written & spoken English
- Good attention to detail
- Uses own initiative and can work independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly
- Polite, professional and courteous at all times
- Confident and helpful telephone manner
- Smart appearance in keeping with a professional office
- Excellent timekeeping
