Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Pennine Care, Health, are now recruiting into salaried trainee CBT positions.
We would like to recruit IAPT Trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapist/High Intensity Therapist into salaried 1-year trainee positions, with the offer of future employment in one of our IAPT services upon successful completion of the training. We are looking for people with a commitment to scientific practice with a willingness to learn new skills and a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of people with common mental disorders.

Psychological therapies are talking therapies that can be used with people with anxiety disorders and depression. As part of a national IAPT (Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies) programme
Services are committed to supporting recovery for people with anxiety and depression-related problems, including people with long term physical health conditions such as diabetes and respiratory problems.
Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.

The successful applicants will be employed by an IAPT provider organisation in Greater Manchester and will be given the opportunity to state for which employer and locality they would like to work. We cannot guarantee the first choice of employer but will endeavour to place you in a team that is mutually acceptable.
Successful completion of the training programme will result in a post-graduate IAPT qualification (level 7) and will enable you to work as a HIT within an IAPT service with your own caseload.
