**About the Team**
- Our FA Technical teams support all aspects of Men's and Women's elite performance - including para football, the elite format of disability football that runs parallel to the mainstream game - so we can help England teams to win tournaments.
- Our teams manage everything from identifying talent to the development and coaching of multi-disciplinary teams throughout the age groups, up to our Senior England teams. To deliver on our goal we have invested heavily in developing a team of exceptional people capable of creating winning England teams at our world-class training facilities at our National Football Centre, St. George's Park.

**What You'll Do?**
- Lead the operational delivery plan for YDP Phase, which includes best practises in the collection and aggregation of multiple intelligence sources to create comprehensive player reports for each age group.
- Working with Head of Player Recruitment & Retention, develop a regional & national scouting strategy that translates into an optimised deployment programme of specific actions and weekly targets for all live observations and video reviews of long-list players.
- Lead a team of Talent Reporters to ensure a strong reputation of The FA's scouting capability and ongoing relationship that add value to clubs, players and The FA
- Track, collect, monitor and share up to date information regarding all fixtures across the YDP phase to best inform live & video match reporting.
- Build an established network of key external stakeholders across professional clubs, players, coaches, and intermediaries to clubs to ensure a consistent exchange of key information on prospective and current players.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Player Insight Team, National Coaches, and Head of Player Recruitment & Retention on all elements of player monitoring, offering the right levels of challenge and support to achieve a robust selection process.
- Monitor the quality/standards of Talent ID Reporting across the YDP phase.
- Support the development of Talent Identification in FA education through close working links and sharing of information with counterpart in FA Education.
- Ensure appropriate technology projects are utilised to support Talent ID/Scouting and player intelligence.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

**What You'll Need?**
- Essential for the role:

- Federation Talent ID Qualifications.
- An established network of senior contacts across the domestic and international game, including club officials, coaches, scouts, players.
- Track record of successfully building and leading teams' in elite sport.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Excellent relationship builder.
- Beneficial to have:

- Creative presentation skills and experience of creating and delivering engaging workshops/presentations.
- Experience of leading and delivering contemporary, multi-disciplinary talent or player identification programmes in professional football.
