**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Supervision**:
Lead and supervise a team of 6 support staff members, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to staff members to enhance their skills and professional development.

**Medication Management**:
Oversee and coordinate the administration of medications in accordance with established protocols and individual care plans.

Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in medication records and compliance with regulatory standards.

Provide training and support to staff on proper medication administration.

**Emergency Response**:
Demonstrate confidence and competence in managing and leading the team during stressful or emergency situations.

Ensure that staff members are trained and proficient in emergency procedures and response protocols.

Collaborate with external agencies and emergency services as needed.

**Quality Assurance**:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services by actively participating in quality assurance initiatives.

Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and best practices.

Conduct regular audits to assess and enhance the overall quality of care provided.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Minimum of 1 years experience in a senior support worker or similar role within a residential care setting.

Relevant qualification in care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care).

Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Excellent knowledge and understanding of care procedures and best practices.

Competency in medication management and administration.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with management team.

Confidence in handling stressful situations and making effective decisions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From £11.90 per hour
