We are in search of a Learning Support Assistant to join our Leeds Education team to work with teachers to support students with different learning support needs. Experience of working with young people with additional needs (ideally pupils with an EHCP) would be highly advantageous. This is a rewarding role, which can support the success in our young people achieving their full potential.

**Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Support delivery of training and support to a small cohort of 16+ year olds within our education centre
- Develop resources and support with delivery on training programmes to learners
- Support initial assessments of learners
- Ensure all relevant young people achieve their qualifications and plan their progression
- Support with the creation of support plans and regularly monitor
- Use resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring proper use and security at all times

A DBS check will be required for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: £15,000.00-£20,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leeds, LS6 2BH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
