We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Peterborough, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a gentleman in his 60’s who lives in Peterborough with his wife, he requires support on a 1:1 basis throughout the day and night.

Your role will be to support with all daily tasks including personal care, moving, and handling and attending to his clinical care requirements when required.

As well as supporting with his care needs you will be there to manage his medication, liaise with health professionals on his behalf, act appropriately to any concerns identified and support with his social and leisure activities.

He is unable to communicate verbally and communicates through communication aids and can mouth words to express his thoughts and desires. It is important that his care team become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and wants are met.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- PEG Feeding
- Tracheostomy Care
- Oral Suctioning

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full Time & Part Time Nights
- Nights 10:00pm - 9.00am

**Take a look at our payrates**

Weeknights £14.50 per hour (£159.50. approx. per 11-hour shift)

Weekends £15.00 per hour (£195.approx per 13-hour shift)

Bank Holidays £15.50 per hour (£201.50.approx per 13 hour shift)
