Junior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine

UHDB require a number of Junior Clinical Fellow posts in Emergency Medicine at the Queens Hospital Burton site. These posts are intended to provide the clinician with post-Foundation experience in Emergency Medicine.
We have recently undergone a period of redesign and refurbishment of our on site Minor Injuries department offering a more streamlined process of managing all walk in patients through appropriate signposting and subsequent management.
**The post would be ideal for those who are**:
- Planning to pursue a career in Emergency Medicine or Acute Specialties and looking to undertake their training at Queens Hospital Burton via the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) route.

These posts will include clinical experience in the Emergency Department as well as specific teaching, training and support depending on career aspirations.
The post holder is expected to commit to ongoing personal development and to show a commitment to maintaining and developing skills and professional knowledge relevant to the post, and to develop a portfolio of evidence.

The rotation is initially offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Depending on the wishes of the successful applicant this can then be extended, based on successful, objective progression throughout the post, onto a longer-term contract.
