**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Print Operator to work within the Printing Services team to provide maternity leave cover, carrying out a wide range of digital printing and finishing services for all university academic and support staff, students and external customers.

This role will involve working with files supplied by customers or our pre-press team to produce a wide variety of high quality printed materials using specialist high volume SRA3 digital colour and mono printing equipment, large format printers and associated finishing equipment.

Training will be given on our specific production processes and equipment.

**Your skills and attributes for success**
- Good general education, with relevant experience of working in a similar digital print environment, operating specialist high volume printing and finishing equipment
- Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines for the safe operation of equipment and manual handling
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and imposition software
- Experience of producing a wide range of printed materials eg. stationery, leaflets, booklets and posters
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload, working to tight deadlines
- Experience of working within a team and offering help and advice to colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
