Wellness Therapist

The Wellbeing Therapist will play a key role in promoting holistic health and relaxation within our new Wellbeing Hub. The role involves delivering evidence-based and complementary therapies designed to support physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing for clients in the community. Treatments may include massage therapy, relaxation sessions, mindfulness techniques, aromatherapy, or other recognised wellbeing interventions.
This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with other professionals within a multidisciplinary wellbeing setting that bridges health, education, and community care.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver a range of wellbeing therapies such as massage, relaxation, and stress-reduction sessions in accordance with professional standards.
- Conduct holistic consultations to identify client needs and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Promote relaxation, improved wellbeing, and recovery through safe, person-centred therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with GDPR and data protection regulations.
- Liaise with other practitioners (e.g., nurses, educators, nutritionists, and mental health professionals) to ensure an integrated approach to wellbeing.
- Support the development of wellbeing workshops, group relaxation sessions, and health education events.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:
- Recognised qualification in one or more wellbeing or complementary therapy disciplines (e.g., Level 3+ Diploma in Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, or Holistic Therapy).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering client-centred wellbeing or relaxation therapies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, professional manner.
- Commitment to holistic care and community wellbeing.
- Understanding of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and safe practice.
**Desirable**:
- Experience working within a clinical or multidisciplinary wellbeing environment.
- Knowledge of stress management, mindfulness, or group relaxation techniques.
- Experience contributing to health promotion or wellbeing education initiatives.

Pay: £20,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
