GMG Automation, located in Stone (Reward House, Diamond Way, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 0SD), is a young thriving reseller automation company specialised in helping manufacturing plants worldwide in the provision of electronic components.
We are looking for a self-motivated Software Developer & IT to join our team.

As a Software Developer you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our CRM system and Website.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage our current custom made CRM Front and Back End
- Manage our website Front and Back End
- Implement changes as required and progressively work towards improving the functionality based on requirements
- Contribution of new ideas and best practice approach to solutions
- Actively work to eliminate bugs and tech debt
- Support the departments in IT related queries and make sure all devices online are protected

Required:

- Experience in software & website development front and back end
- Experience in IT security management
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Confident in communication both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and desire to probe further when required

We offer:

- Salary per year: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 (based on experience) + Career advancement
- Work pension
- Working hours: Mon-Thu: 7.30am - 4.30pm | Fri: 7.30am - 3.30pm
- Office based only
- On-site parking

At the moment we are unable to offer hybrid or remote working opportunities.

As a new company, we believe that togetherness is what makes us successful and more productive as well as improve communication between the departments.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
