Falck Ambulance Services are looking for a Team Leader (Nights) to join their busy operational team on our site in Wembley (HA9 7RQ). This role would be supervising a team of Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA’s) & Intermediate Care Technicians (ICT’s) to support them with their induction into the business and their development within their role. A fabulous opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge and wants to develop your skills, knowledge and experience
We are recruiting for the following shift pattern:

- **4 on 4 off - 1900-0700 - 38.5 hours per week (Nights)**

What will I be doing?*
Being a Team Leader is a key role within our business as you are responsible for leading and motivating a team to ensure we are providing a high quality service to our patients by demonstrating (but not limited to):

- Being a positive role model and coach to your team, by providing expert supervision and guidance on everyday practical issues to help them develop their knowledge and skills
- Supporting the team with regular 1-2-1’s and feedback to improve overall team performance
- Welcoming and facilitating the on boarding of new colleagues into your team to ensure they fully embed within their role and the wider team
- Resolving general queries around (but not limited to); pay, annual leave, overtime, site communications, etc
- Deputizing for the Shift Manager as and when required

What experience will I need?*
- Experience of leading and managing a team - essential
- Experience of working towards KPI’s
- A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Comfortable with working in an environment of change, with flexible approach to new challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel
- Calm under pressure
