**Factory Production Worker**

Foremans Packaging is a well established manufacturer, with an enviable reputation for quality and service. Based in Chelmsford for 150 years, we are suppliers to key manufacturers of medical, military and the aerospace industry.

We require a team member to assemble wood components and packing cases working from a kit of cut parts and work instruction sheets. You will need to be able to read written instructions and use a tape measure. There may be some lifting involved at times.

We can give some training to the right applicant but some experience of working with wood and wood tools, bandsaws and CNC machines would be a great advantage.

The work is interesting and varied often doing different jobs each week. You will be part of a friendly team and often have the opportunity for overtime.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Basic machine operating
- Using nail guns
- Measuring and assembly
- Cutting foam to size
- Operating CNC machine
- Stacking and wrapping pallets
- General factory duties as required

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience**:

- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Previous factory/production experience
- Able to complete manual handling tasks
- Must be a team player
- Must be fit and able as some lifting is required

39 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm (3.30pm finish on Friday)
