**Description**:
This position is based in our Head Office in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. **The role is permanent, full or part time, 37.5/25 hours per week across 5 days** **(Monday to Friday)**
Reporting directly to the Head of Construction your time will be split between the Construction and Asset and Estates Teams assisting in the growth of the company’s UK portfolio and supporting the management of tenancy income, with additional support to the wider property team including the Property Director.
The ideal Property Administrator is someone who is articulate and dynamic. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as great administration skills. Ideally, you will have experience in the industry but enthusiasm is key. You must have excellent IT skills and be someone who is flexible, hardworking, reliable & sociable.
Your role as a Property Administrator will be to provide administrative duties, including updating and maintaining excel spreadsheets and databases, liaising with third parties when necessary, assisting the property team to manage the company’s property and projects, answering and directing telephone calls and filling. This Property Administrator role is a great career opportunity, you will gain exposure to the self-storage and property industries whilst working as part of a busy but small friendly team.
The salary for this role will be **£24,000 to £26,000 per annum** with a potential to earn a bonus of **12%.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- General administration relating to all new store construction, refurbishment projects and capital enhancement schemes
- Preparing and issuing of tender packages and specification documents
- Management of tenancy income database and communication with tenants where required
- Raising purchase orders using in house and web based software packages
- Preparing and maintaining financial spreadsheets
- Ensuring a well maintained filing system, taking responsibility for data input and integrity of information
- Responsibility for updating and maintaining property records and contact databases
- Attending meetings and training according to the needs of the Department
- Liaising with external contractors and internal stakeholders regularly, including senior leaders within the organisation
- Completing other business administration duties and projects as assigned, supporting the wider Property team in the UK and also Holland and Germany
**Experience and Skills Required**:
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word. Experience using Space Manager and Procore ideal but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Ability to learn quickly and to be flexible in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines with the minimum of supervision
- Excellent organisational and general office administrative skills
- Ability to work on own initiative with a hardworking, highly motivated and pro-active attitude
