- Maintaining and further developing our engagement with police forces throughout England and Wales.
- Maximise the opportunities with a view to ensuring that Roads Policing officers are aware of IM and the quality of services that we provide to the police and to the victims of road traffic collisions.
- Seek to develop relationships with new police contacts nationally to secure personal referrals
- Embedding IM brand awareness in everything that is delivered, including all training material.
- Co-ordinate with all police lead contacts within IM offices, keeping IM colleagues up to date with any Police developments or relevant feedback within their geographic area or indeed on a national basis if relevant.
- Maintain the number of IM Roads Policing CPD events for Roads Policing officers, Family Liaison officers and Lead Investigators.
- To be involved in organising and delivering a programme of training. Our courses include Roads Policing Lead Investigator / Investigating Officer training, Serious & Fatal Review training, and Advanced Roads Policing Lead Investigators.
- Develop new online training packages for Roads Policing and FLO officers. These will be targeted to specific areas of policing and developed in conjunction with key police contacts.
- Ensure we are continuing to evolve our training to incorporate all/any latest developments, to maintain our ‘best in class’ position and maintain our market leading approach, staying one step ahead of our competitors.
- Take an active part on social media Twitter / LinkedIn and Facebook with IM community projects and promote relevant updates.
- Support our legal teams with case selection and monitoring of road traffic collisions.
- Use existing collision investigation skills to conduct case reviews for colleagues to assess collision dynamics with a view to providing clear advice to assist in assessing liability issues in civil cases.
