Overhead Crane Operator

An **Overhead Crane Operator / Material Handler** is required for a steel processing company based in the Brierley Hill area of the West Midlands.

This position is working on a temp to perm basis - with a permanent contract awarded after a probationary period.

Duties include:

- Operating an overhead crane to handle steel
- Assisting with loading / offloading steel on machine lines (multi-strand blanking lines)
- Banding, packing and palletising stock
- General material handling duties

You will NOT need an Overhead Crane Operator licence, experience of operating overhead cranes to handle steel is all you need.

This position is working mornings and afternoons;
6am - 2pm (6am - 12:30pm Fridays) / 2pm - 10pm (12:30pm - 7pm Fridays)

The rate of pay is £10.93 per hour + £15 per week timeskeeping bonus.
