We are working with a provider of social housing who are looking for a Gas Surveyor/Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Working on a home-based basis you will be covering a patch of properties across a large area including Bristol,Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Dorset.

Working within a team of Gas surveyors you will ensure the service meets statutory and regulatory requirements and ensures that the organisations properties remain safe.

Duties will include:

- Day to day oversight and control of Gas service repair contracts to ensure full compliance and governance within Gas legislation and policies.
- Overseeing the productivity and quality of work provided by contracted partners
- Working with the Head of Gas Safety, Gas surveyors and compliance administrative team to ensure a robust quality assurance process on Gas works undertaken
- Raising any external and internal risks that may result in impacting the organisation.
- Day to day monitoring arrangements of Gas Safety performance through Pre & Post Inspections, audits and measurement against set objectives and targets (KPI’s)
- Update and maintain of the compliance databases ensuring all risk assessments and actions are completed in a timely manner

Required Skills & Experience
- Gas ACS qualifications - CCN1 (to include CPA1), CENWAT, CKR1 - either current or held in last 5 years, or Level 4 VRQ Gas Safety Management in Social Housing
- Compliance programme management & comprehensive understanding of relevant sections in Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations
- Contract management experience
- Complaint management experience
- Understanding of current legislative changes and impact on compliance
- Understanding of Social Housing Regulator Tenancy Satisfaction Measures
