We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of the Colleges we provide catering for in Cambridge. We are committed to serving food not only that tastes good but that is also good for you and good for the planet. Enjoy providing our lovely customers with some first-class food within a modern and exciting environment. You won’t stand still or have a dull moment in this very hands-on role.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for keeping the wash up area clean and tidy
- Clear and wash crockery and cutlery
- Unload and put away deliveries
- Basic food preparation
- Have a basic understanding of food safety and hygiene

**Personal Attributes**:

- LOVE food, and love working in a team.
- Positive attitude
- Have good customer service skills and strong communication skills.
- Be able to work in a high-pressured environment.
- Be organised, work tidily and have excellent time keeping skills.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.

If you don’t have previous experience within a similar role but have the right attitude, we will happily train you. If you do, that’s great

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on an Afternoon and Evening shift pattern

A degree of flexibility is required to cater to the needs of the site which will include weekends and evenings.
