**Cost and Finance Assistant**

**Location: Plymouth**

**£25,000-£28,000**

I am looking to recruit a Cost and Finance Assistant to join a large construction and infrastructure client. You will report to and be mentored by the Finance Business Partner. The successful post-holder’s prime function is to provide Finance and Administration support to this newly secured large project team and wider JV team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generation of Cost reports to assist Commercial Team
- Cost recharge processes to ensure Labour and Staff costs are allocated to the correct Contract activities and relating AFP multiplier
- Analysis of Cost and Value for Staff
- Providing of Expenses reports and back-up
- Processing of Manual/Miscellaneous payment requests for the Contract
- Raising and processing of Sales Ledger Invoices/Applications
- Maintenance of Contract Fleet and Plant Register

**Skills & Experience**:

- Ability to use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office and bespoke packages
- Experience of accounting systems e.g. Causeway
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large volumes of data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Methodical and organised
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- A meticulous approach to detail and attention to accuracy
- Possess or working towards an appropriate qualification
- Background experience in the Construction industry - preferred
