**Overview**

**Duties**:

- Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, Limited Companies and Charities.
- Assist other team members with VAT return preparation and book-keeping.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600's.
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
- Completion and submission of confirmation statements.
- Resolving queries, communicating with clients and identifying pertinent issues to discuss with practice principal.
- Assistance with management of work flow.

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years experience of working in general practice.
- AAT qualified, part qualified or QBE
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.
- Ability to prepare accounts from a variety of client records.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good working knowledge of income tax, corporation tax, VAT and PAYE.
- A good team player who is able to assist junior colleagues when required.

We can offer flexibility around hours and hybrid working is an option to accommodate the school holidays, as long a statutory deadlines are met. Monday to Friday 20hrs per week preferred. Ongoing CPD and specialist training courses offered. Company Pension.

Pay: £22,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
