**Due to expansion ( expanding from 4 to 30 cleaners on site over the last 2 years)**

We are currently looking for 1x Fulltime Night shift supervisor **with contracted hours** all year round to work on our Woodsmith site (near Whitby) for the largest employer in the area - Anglo American.
- Duties will include: _
- Make sure all staff are following the correct methods of work and following their Risk Assessments, Method statements and manual handling assessments.
- COSHH surveillance - making sure mixtures and solution usage is correct and monitoring for signs of incorrect mix ratio’s and making sure national colour coding practice is followed correctly.
- Conduct Employee Training Reviews with staff allocated by Contracts Manager/ Deputy Contracts Manager.
- Point of contact for Anglo American when contracts or deputy contracts manager/ backshift manager is not on site to relay information back, Including work requests, Staff work area issues and Sickness.
- Point of contact for staff to raise any concerns regarding workload or changes to work area too and to then pass that over to contracts manager for review.
- Supervision of break timings to ensure workers are sticking to allocated break times only.
- Quality of work checks to make sure all HCS employees are putting out HCS standards of work in their areas.
- Pass on all AA stock that is required for ordering to the contracts or deputy contracts manager to order.
- Make sure all work areas have been picked up on site and if needed arrange workers into those areas to provide cover. Ensure that all daily operations on site are running as they should Including the laundry service.
- Point of contact for staff welfare and needs to relay back to Contracts Manager/ deputy contracts manager
- Assist with arranging or covering sickness when required.
- Ensure the Client is happy and satisfied with services provided By Hackness Cleaning Services LTD.

Although this role will be based Monday to Friday Flexability to cover weekend hours will be required to cover sickness and/or holiday

**Qualifications**

In order to be successful in this role you will need have a basic level of English, (reading, writing, verbal), and whilst previous cleaning experience is desirable it is not essential as you will be properly trained and supported. Team working with colleagues is a must
