- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance with drink selections.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes.
- Keep up-to-date with new drink recipes, trends, and techniques in bartending.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the establishment.
