**Job Title**: Nursery Lunch Cover **Contract type**: Part time, permanent -15 hours per week, 11am-2pm, Monday - Friday, All year round **Salary**: £8.60 - £11.44 Childcare experience is essential Ellingham House Nursery based in Ringwood are seeking a Nursery Lunch Cover to join and support their team of nurturing practitioners. In this role you will support the practitioners with the children's daily routines across the lunch period. We pride ourselves on putting the children at the heart of our team and living in the moment, following the interests of the children. **About us**: Ellingham is set idyllically in a Georgian country house surrounded by 2.5 acres of lawns and woodland. In this safe space, our children have the opportunity to explore, stretch, and run as well as practice their climbing and balancing skills in the ever popular ‘bear cave’. The paddock is home to our friendly Valais Black Nose sheep - Baarbara and Soozie. The children help the team care for them and learn how to stay safe around animals. The nursery has a real ‘home from home’ feel, with welcoming rooms specifically suited to babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. The nursery is home from home and we couldn't have asked for a more professional, robust, and family environment to help prepare our son for his educational journey". **As Nursery Lunch Cover, you will**: Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are metEnsure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures **As Nursery Lunch Cover, you will need**: Full and Relevant Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Qualification - desirable Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable Ellingham House Day Nursery is part of the Family First Group where we take great care to treat everyone as a person, with equal rights and responsibilities to any other individual, whether they are an adult or a child.
