**Key Objectives**
- **Night shift - **Monday - Thursday 7.45pm - 6.00am, 39 hour week
- Friday evening overtime paid at time and half

Reporting to the Stores Manager you will be responsible for liaising with the stores team, ensuring stock is in the correct location and distributing parts to production staff as required.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Liaising with the stores team to ensure all stock requirements are met
- Monitor stock levels and reporting requirement
- Checking goods in and out ensuring correct quantity and quality
- Ensure all defect goods are in the quarantine area
- Ensure stock is stored in the correct location and recording any movements
- Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining production area housekeeping
- Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
- Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist within the stores operations team, flexibility required
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times

The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Hands on materials/stores experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Effective communication skills and structured approach to record keeping
- IT skills including the use of tablets/computer software is essential
- Counterbalance/Reach Truck Licence is advantageous
- Organised, proactive and self motivated individual
- Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintained
