**Job Purpose**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Data Entry**: Accurately input financial transactions into our accounting software, including invoices, payments, and bank statements.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate balances and identify any discrepancies.
- **Credit Control**: Follow up on overdue payments and maintain customer accounts.
- **Sales Ledger**: Manage the sales ledger, including raising and issuing invoices.
- **Purchase Ledger**: Process supplier invoices and payments.
- **VAT Returns**: Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- **Payroll Support**: Provide administrative support to the payroll department.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports.
- **Ad-hoc Tasks**: Undertake other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as required.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
