**B2B Business Development Executive**

**Location**:South East of England

**Salary**: £25k-£30k basic plus uncapped OTE, Option for car allowance or company pool car (only for work purposes)

**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent
**Job purpose**:
As an integral part of the growing sales team, you will increase the volume and value of new sales through acquiring new business customers.

You will be responsible for a specific sales territory, identifying potential customers and converting them to valued customers. In representing the team, you will always strive to provide an excellent customer experience.

The role requires highly motivated individuals, who understand that every contact with a potential customer, whether they buy or not, will impact on future sales as building the brand through word of mouth can deliver great returns.

No two days will be the same. The role will include sales to homeowners, sales to businesses, event-based sales, social network and advocacy sales and potentially even supporting one of the company’s indirect sales partners, and more. Finding the most effectiveways to sell within your territory will be up to you.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Generating, identifying, qualifying, and closing sales leads within your specified territory through face-to-face contact with potential customers.
- Responding at pace to both inbound and outbound leads generated from marketing campaigns and by your colleagues in the telesales team.
- Building a sustainable pipeline of opportunities to ensure monthly sales targets are achieved.
- Effective use of the CRM platform for forecasting and pipeline management and ensuring customer data is always up to date and accurate.
- Day to day engagement with both existing and potential customers to develop a strong brand presence for the company, and to build an extended Business network within the territory.
- Working closely with your sales and marketing team colleagues to redefine the business proposition where needed, and to develop great sales techniques and effective sales collateral.
- To work closely with the Customer Experience teams to ensure the company provides a fast, issue free customer installation, and swift resolution of any issues ensuring they always exceed customer expectations.
- Support newer members of the team, helping them meet the company’s standards the team need to achieve.

**The experience they’re looking for you to bring**:

- Proven sales experience and success is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of the Fibre Broadband market would be beneficial.
- A positive attitude, and bundles of energy and enthusiasm.
- A very keen eye for detail.
- High levels of self-motivation.
- Great organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- Maintaining a cool head when under pressure.
- Responsibility and Reliability
- A great sense of humour
