Fp&a Finance Lead

**Purpose**
The jobholder is responsible for providing a financial management reporting for the ETL to be used in the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle. The job holder will be responsible to analyse past process in the old structure and implement new aligned and standardise reporting process across the European business. The job holder is expected to work closely with the BUs head of finance / FDs as well as IT and other functional teams to establish the requirements and solutions required for the job.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Senior business partner to our stakeholders to ensure we have the right data points to drive the business forward.
- Ensure standardised process for rolled up reporting and reconciliation with accounting systems for P&L and BS.
- Consolidation of accounts and KPIs with preparation of supporting commentary and analysis. Both from a BU point of view as well as Legal entity point of view.
- Presentation and explanation of performance within the reporting cycle.
- Standardising Ways of Working across the European businesses.
- Work closely with the Finance system team to establish best practice and simplifying the process.
- Build one version of the truth.
- Define and drive self-service reporting across BUs through standardised reports.
- Preparation of forecasts and budgets timetables, including working capital and capex.
- Prepare instructions and consolidation of data from sites into a standardised pack for the leadership team.
- Completion of Finance management packs and leadership packs.
- Take on other special exercises as required.
- You will be proactively curious, ask the right questions and drive insight to support business decisions presenting information in a simplified manner.
**Skills & Knowledge**
- Independent thinking, be a leader with a clear independent thorough process.
- Excellent Commercial and business acumen
- Confident Presenter of complex financial information to internal and External Parties with and without finance knowledge.
- Astute Cross Functional Worker able to communicate at all levels.
- Can do attitude with a continuous improvement mindset to drive a lean team and able to simplify ways of working.
- Desire to understand the operational and commercial drivers of the business.
- Ability to travel to visit all our sites.
- Drive that supports the movements required in a FMCG environment.
- Experience with consolidation of financial reporting.
- Great knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Resilience to work under pressure in an ever-changing business landscape and still deliver required output on time.
- Great analysis skills.
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Systems experience: SAP ¦ Anaplan ¦ BI tools
**Essential Criteria**
- Experienced within FMCG / Multinationals.
- Experience from working in a manufacturing environment.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or University master’s degree (MSc/MBA).
