**Salary**:£12.21 plus Tronc and tips

**Hours**:Part time, 15-30 hours to be increased to 45 hours in December,

**Summary**

The Waiter role is to provide and excellent dining experience for all our customers whilst maintaining exceptional customer service and ensuring we consistently exceed customer expectations.

The Waiter reports to the Head Waiter & Assistant Restaurant managers.

**Duties**:

- To be fully conversant with every drink served in the restaurant and to provide explanations as requested.
- To be competent in advising guests with food allergies or dietaries by liaising with the kitchen ensuring the order is processed correctly.
- Delivering food and drinks to customers.
- Checking with customers throughout the dining experience that the drinks are to their satisfaction.
- Arrange table settings prior and throughout service and ensure the restaurant areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- To ensure that service is at all times performed in a professional manner.
- To attend staff training/briefing sessions.
- To communicate effectively with other restaurant staff and other departments.
- Ensure an exceptional level of customer service is offered to every customer.
- Build ongoing relationships with customers by engaging with each customer.
- Ensure that proper security procedures are followed to protect employees, customers and company assets.
- Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, uniform standards and appearance standards.
- To follow all Health & Safety procedures and report any faults to the Restaurant Manager or his Assistants.
