Theywant to have best-in-class operations thought standardisation, operational essentials and innovative opportunities. Main Responsibilities: - Provide HSE & Business Continuity Management advice, guidance and support to enable the site to comply with relevant statutory legislation. - Drive business Standardisation and assist with the continued adherence to the HSMS and any other relevant HSE & BCM policies at the site. - Establish and agree a "Site Visit Schedule" to ensure continued, regular and balanced site attendance is achieved - Meet annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives which will be assessed via the performance management system. - Assist the central HSE function in delivering the functional business objectives - Coordinate and assist the Management team to take ownership in all HSE & BCM actions & initiatives at the site Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications: - Proven experience working within an operational H&S role - Previous H&S responsibility in warehouse, logistics, transport or manufacturing environments - Ability to create H&S improvement plans and work to targets. - NEBOSH National General Certificate - NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management (Desirable) - Excellent stakeholder management & influencing skills Salary on offer is £40,000 - £45,000 + package Alternatively, if you know of anyone who may be interested in this opportunity, please forward on our details.
