An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Secretary to join a leading law firm in Mansfield.

You will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and enjoy working in a challenging, busy and professional environment.

You will be supporting one of our fee earners, producing documents relating to the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgage and transfer of equity, new builds and Help To Buy. You will also be managing the fee earner’s diary anddealing with client enquiries.

Your duties will include:

- Digital dictation
- Drafting sale and purchase documentation
- Completing SDLT Forms
- Drafting bill and completion statements
- Exchanging contracts
- Setting up completion
- Diary management
- Administrative duties
- Filing
- Photocopying/scanning
- Assisting other members of the department as required
- Dealing with clients
- Pre and post completion work
- A strong desire to learn

- Excellent attention to detail
- IT competent
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance

As an experienced legal secretary, you will have worked within a conveyancing department previously, and will have the ability to provide high quality support in this area. You will be organised and have exceptional audio typing skills, excellent Microsoftskills (Word, Excel and Outlook). You will also have file management skills with attention to detail and be a confident communicator with excellent client care skills.

The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary will preferably have a minimum of 2 years previous experience of assisting a residential property fee earner or team and a good understanding of the full conveyancing process.
