QA Tester

As a result of our clients ongoing success we are looking for an experienced QA Tester to join an expanding dynamic team.

About the Role:

- Design, develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and usability of our digital platforms
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects
- Write and maintain comprehensive test plans based on user stories and requirements documents
- Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and technologies

Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience with programming languages such as C#, PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Basic understanding of SQL queries and Git source control is a plus

Person Specification:

- Strong understanding of software developed lifecycles (SDLC) with a focus on testing methodologies
- Experience writing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Specflow
- Proficient in writing clear and concise test plans based on requirements documents
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners and other stake holders
- A passion for The Range and our wide range of products is a bonus
