Let’s make student life even better, together. **About Role**: We are seeking to appoint a **Student Experience Leader** to support the Students' Union (SU) and collaborate with the existing Student Experience Leader in delivering an exceptional experience for both residential and day students. This role will involve close partnership with the SU to support team development, oversee operational planning, and manage budgeting activities. A key aspect of the position will be coordinating a wide range of events throughout the academic year, including flagship "big ticket" events, initiatives that promote our equality, diversity, and inclusion agenda, and opportunities for community engagement. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work effectively with the SU and the wider student body to gather insights into the student experience and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and innovation. **Key Responsibilities**: - Plan and manage student engagement activities, including Focus Weeks, clubs, societies, volunteering, and employability events. - Build relationships with students, staff, community groups, sponsors, and partner organisations. - Ensure safe and inclusive delivery of all events and student-led activities. - Support SU Officers with effective use of budgets and resources. - Capture and represent student voice, leading Student Council and contributing to service improvements. - Collaborate with Residential Services and Marketing to promote events and enhance communication. - Champion the GROW initiative and embed College values in all activities. **Interviews: Tuesday 26th August 2025** **Start Date: As soon as possible** **About the College**: Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.
