Junior Designer

**Position Title**:Junior Designer, Henshaw Inflatables (answering to the Design Manager)

**Starting Salary**: 25,000 - 28,000 (dependant on qualifications & experience)

**Other**: Computer supplied by Wing Group. All normal and reasonable travel / incidentals covered by company. Standard car allowance for mileage allowed.

**Qualifications**: Minimum Level 3 BTEC/A-Level (or similar) preferably in an engineering discipline.

Experience with 2D and 3D Drawing packages such as AutoCAD & Rhino desirable

**Job Type**: Full-time, permanent

**Roles &**

**Responsibilities**: Provide support to the design team, adhering to design procedures and the requirements of internal and external customers.

Process customer orders to Produce CAD/CAM data, machining programs and drawings for manufacture.

Maintain the PLM System, ensuring all information is kept accurate and up-to-date in line with production requirements.

Liaise with the shop floor to ensure successful progression of your projects and provide support and modifications where necessary.

Use 3d Scanning equipment to scan RiB hulls and tubes to aid engineering.

Action all ECR’s as determined by the NCR procedure and ensure the ECR Log is kept up to date.

Produce relevant engineering drawings in accordance with BS8888 & relevant documentation in accordance with ISO9001.

Have a good customer facing persona, with a desire to provide above and beyond customer service.

Have an interest in marine craft, leisure & commercial products and continuous product development.

All other essential requirements such a proactive approach, IT proficiency and supporting daily business activities are as expected.

Improve the quality of the products, and drive to make Henshaws No. 1 in the UK.
