As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the services facilities are fit for purpose and will regularly conduct audits to identify and repair any faults.

Working alongside an established team, you will turn your hand to all maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service.

**Yourresponsibilitieswill include**:

- Working within the Maintenance Team to maintain all the services, buildings, facilities and equipment, ensuring it is in good working order, is safe and effective maintenance is maintained
- Assisting with the annual programme of maintenance, which includes work that can be undertaken within your own scope of competence
- Utilising good DIY skills
- Ensuring Health and Safety is maintained at all times
- Escorting Contractors when visiting site, maintaining their and all on-site personnel's safety
- It is a requirement to be part of an on-call rota system that is managed by the Maintenance Manager.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A good employment history
- To comply with system and procedures
- To work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience of working in healthcare premises would be a bonus but not essential
