Senior Calculation Developer

**The Role**:

- Work closely with a team of Calculation Developers to deliver new client installations and enhancement to existing portfolio.
- Develop expertise in tools, processes, UK pensions calculations, and letter automations.
- Interpret business requirements and data for pensions systems including DC, DB, and hybrid schemes.
- Review systems calculation software including letters, statements, data extracts, and write-backs.
- Troubleshoot technical problems encountered during development.
- Spearhead quality and efficiency improvements of deliveries through relevant and innovative solutions.
- Work closely with architecture and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Engages with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand their needs and define solutions that meet business requirements in line with TAS Technology strategy.

**The Requirements**:

- Highly knowledgeable on DB and DC occupational pension schemes and how this translates to pension calculation and letter configuration.
- Extensive experience of pension calculation proformas and the development of these into automated calculations.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management.
- Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment throughout the entire lifecycle including QA.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment that has tight deadlines.
- Ability to learn and evaluate new tools, concepts, and challenges quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
