Position Description

We are looking for a skilled Technical Bid Writer to join our busy Central Governmentbusiness, working to help us win key programmes of work through the UK Government's procurement frameworks (DOS, G-Cloud, Technology Services).

This role can be worked remotely from anywhere in the UK, though there will be some occasional (expensed) travel to CGI/Client Offices as necessary.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Using your experience of leading complex technical transformations to shape and write winning proposals for major UK Government programmes, you’ll need experience with the following:

- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of software engineering across a DevSecOps SDLC, including architecture, development, testing and quality assurance, using Agile delivery methods
- A background in software engineering, having worked in complex digital transformation programmes in public or private sectors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to describe complex technical approaches to both business and technical audiences
- A demonstrable, positive track record as a bid practitioner (delivery or technical), developing win themes and writing compelling solutions as winning proposals
- Experience of working with GDS (Government Digital Service) and technical assessment standards
