**Description**:
After posting consistently impressive financial and growth figures over the past few years, Lockton People Solutions are looking to grow the Global Benefits Consultancy team through the hire of this newly created position.

**Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to support the service delivery to clients across the Global People Solutions practice. Responsible for supporting senior consultants as part of larger teams on complex accounts and leading aspects of accounts with oversight in providing client services for an assigned book of global employee benefits business. Key tasks and duties are largely around supporting senior consultants to effectively deliver to clients, managing workload effectively and developing yourself to add value - including making connections and accessing resources to solve problems.

**Key Tasks & Duties**

CLIENT FOCUS
- Work with senior consultants in the preparation of client deliverables and materials across the range of global benefit propositions and services.
- Understand the “why” (the reason) for the work being needed and delivered to a client.
- Work with client team members in directing, addressing, and resolving client queries issues about global benefit issues.

CLIENT DELIVERY
- Understanding and executing clients’ global benefits strategies through management of Lockton Global Partners.
- Supporting advisory services on global benefits themes such as benefits benchmarking, financing, M&A, wellbeing etc.
- Monitor the tracking of renewals, project progress and timelines, maintaining client files, populating, and maintaining activity/issues trackers.
- Own and coordinate Salesforce database management for client information; policy data, contacts, mailing lists, and other required data management duties.
- Understand the scope and manage any budgets/other metrics through effective project tracking.

MAKING EFFECTIVE CONNECTIONS
- Form a network with the Lockton Global Partner offices, peers, and other business service groups (IT, Office Services, Information Processing, Accounting, local offices, etc.) to progress various tasks using a partnership approach that facilitates high-quality results and process workflow.
- Proactively consult with local Lockton Global offices and partners as needed to resolve any issues.

MANAGING SELF & DEVELOPMENT
- Coordinate meetings, calls and other events including arranging the technology and structure.
- Lead internal calls and attend client calls where appropriate.
- Build on knowledge of computer packages to include the Lockton technology and apply/use effectively e.g. Salesforce.

MANAGING OTHERS
- Buddy, develop and train Global Benefits Analysts.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to a Global Benefits Analyst.

**Desired skills & knowledge**:

- c 3 years experience in a global benefits or similar role which reflects the skills and experience which will be transferred to the world of Global Benefits
- Have completed training courses/qualifications in core areas such as insurance, international benefits (IEBA), HR or another related discipline.
- Strong client focus with the ability to develop positive relationships with team members and external contacts
- Can work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams and able to achieve and manage timescales for delivery
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with colleagues in both an office and a virtual environment
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to solve problems and cope with challenges.

**Further experience, skills, or knowledge**
- Relevant corporate experience
- Fluency or professional proficiency in a foreign language is often helpful
- Any other professional qualifications or training are also an advantage
- Experience working or living abroad is helpful although not required.
