Podiatry Receptionist

The Salford Care Organisation’s Podiatry Service has an exciting opportunity for a podiatry Receptionist to join our innovative and supportive team.

Podiatrists are registered healthcare professionals who specialise in the lower limb providing high quality clinical care to patients of all age groups. The Podiatry Team provides assessment and treatment for patients who have active foot disease which requires specialist care in a hospital setting.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to support the running of the outpatient podiatry clinics at Salford Royal Hospital. You will work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

You will ideally have previous experience working in a reception or admin position, ideally in a health or social care setting. The role will also involve administrative and receptionist duties to contribute to the smooth running of the service.

The main duties of the role are to check patients in and out of clinic, book follow up appointments, process referrals, deal with incoming telephone calls, organise porters, liaise with patient transport and assist in the running of the busy outpatient department.
