**The Role**

We are currently hiring for a Romanian tutor based in Norwood, Dulwich, Sydenham, Crystal Palace, or surrounding areas to support a 5-year-old student in developing their Romanian language skills, enabling them to communicate more effectively with family members.

**Pay**: £20 per hour
**Location**: SE21 (student’s home)
**Commitment**: 1 hour per week

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive difference through one-to-one tuition.

**Essential Requirements**

Please read carefully — applicants **must** meet the following essential criteria:

- MUST have some professional experience working with children/young people e.g. teaching assistants, teachers, chilcare practitoners or nannies etc. (REQUIRED)
- MUST be available weekly for a 1 hour face to face tutoring sessions weekly (REQUIRED)
- MUST be able to speak Romanian
- MUST be able to access a printer as and when necessary
- resources are provided however tutors are expected to print from time to time (REQUIRED)
- A formal qualification in Romanian or a Romanian native is desirable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions in students' homes, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals.
- Build relationships and rapport with students
- Make sessions fun and interactive
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Encourage and motivate students to build confidence in their academic abilities

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £20.00 per hour
