**Job Overview**

Working on shift within a team of six you will be packing product into various pack sizes using one of our three packing lines. You will be required to learn to operate each of the packing lines ensuring product meets the customer’s required quality and safety requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

When fully trained you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the product is packed to the required specification
- Completing production paperwork to the standard required to ensure full food safety and quality traceability information is captured.
- To work in a safe manner at all times, taking into consideration the safety of others as well as yourself. To report unsafe acts using the incident reporting cards
- Ensuring the data collection system is used as instructed in order that stock accuracy and traceability is maintained
- Ensuring the work planned for your shift is completed in the allocated time

**Personal Competencies and Qualifications**
- Happy working as part of a small team
- Good attention to detail
- Able to learn to operate three packing lines
- PC literate - use of PC for data collection
- A good standard of written English, must be able to read instructions in English
- Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment beneficial
- An understanding of HACCP and Food Safety will be beneficial.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,760.00 per year
