Become part of our dedicated Aftersales Team that are massively important for the success of Advance Vauxhall. We are currently seeking a passionate Parts & Service Advisor to work alongside our team of Vehicle Technicians, Apprentices, and our Aftersales Manager.

As a Parts & Service Advisor at Advance Vauxhall, you will have access to continuous training opportunities, both through our in-house and from Vauxhall Academy.

**The Role**:
Working to develop and increase our current Vauxhall Parts business. You will be developing great relationships with existing customers and prospecting for new customers. You will also be massively involved in the customer experience for customers who are booked into the Workshop. You'll be checking the customers and communicating any relevant mechanical information whilst trying to upsell additional products and services.

**Parts/Service Advisor Responsibilities**:

- Checking in customers with a welcoming meet and greet.
- Using good mechanical knowhow to upsell additional services to customers.
- Liaise with the team in the workshop to communicate any technical issues in a more understandable way to customers.
- Keep customers informed of turnaround times and ensure effective communication while their vehicle is in the workshop.
- Helping customers find the right parts for their vehicles, providing information on availability, prices, and alternative options if necessary.
- Selling parts and accessories to customers, understanding the customer's needs, recommending appropriate parts, processing sales transactions accurately, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Ensure all customers have had a positive experience with Advance Vauxhall to achieve good success on customer satisfaction surveys.
- To be experienced in up-selling VHC, Vauxhall products & Service Plans, objection handling and record sales activity
- To raise invoices for work done & meet the customers' time deadlines for collection of their vehicles.
- To process warranty claims to the manufacturer.

**About you**:
To succeed as a Service Advisor in our busy dealership, you must possess high energy, a warm personality, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to build rapport easily. You should be able to explain technical information clearly and concisely. Previous experience with Kerridge/ADP and familiarity with other essential dealer systems would be advantageous.
