Senior Rotational Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer (Maternity cover)
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Technical Officer to join our dynamic and innovative pharmacy team. The department has been through significant developments, including a rebuild of the department and a new hospital site, IT systems, and innovative roles to improve medicine optimisation. You will be working with a very friendly and supportive team. There will be plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and career with us, as we are dedicated to providing a clear career pathway for pharmacy support staff.
You will be based in the pharmacy department at Highgate Mental Health Centre and have the opportunity to work in the pharmacy dispensary and with the procurement and distribution team in stores. Full training will be given in each rotation, and you will be supported by practice supervisors in each of the rotations.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 4 GCSE's in English, Mathematics, and Science (Grade C/4 or above) and have completed a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Services. You must also be highly organised and motivated, have excellent communication and people skills, and have the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
Camden & Islington NHS Trust is actively involved with quality improvement programs, which this post-holder will have the opportunity to receive training in and contribute to.
