Location: The New Inn, Shipton Gorge, Dorset
Position: Sauce Slinger / Grill Wrangler / Heat-Proof Food Hustler

We’re The New Inn, a lively countryside pub with proper food, a good crew, and a kitchen that gets the job done without the drama. We’re on the lookout for a Line Cook who’s dependable, up for a challenge, and ready to be part of a kitchen that moves fast, works clean, and supports each other.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Cooking solid, satisfying food to spec, on time, every time
- Keeping your station tidy, stocked, and under control
- Jumping in on prep, assisting the team, and getting service over the line
- Learning the ropes, sharpening your skills, and working closely with the Head Chef
- Communicating clearly and cracking on when the orders are flying

What We’re Looking For:

- Someone who can get to us reliably (own transport is a big plus - buses are few and far between out here)
- Early in your kitchen career or just keen to keep developing
- Positive attitude, solid work ethic, and a bit of common sense
- Can stay cool under pressure and bounce back when it gets hectic
- Already got experience? Great. Still learning? No problem - we’ll support you

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Pay**: £11.50 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
**Expected hours**: 12 - 32 per week

**Schedule**:

- Day and evening shifts
- Weekend availability
- Flexible with notice
