We are looking for a warm, professional and hardworking Part Time Receptionist to join our team to work for our lovely hotels (49 bedrooms) on Brighton Seafront. You will be an integral part of the front of house team reporting to the Hotel Manager.

Duties this role includes but is not limited to:

- Responsible for welcoming hotel guests and acting as their first point of contact
- Providing exceptional customer service to our hotel guests
- Ensuring the smooth running of the hotels during your shift
- Managing reservations and taking new bookings including payments
- Checking hotel guests in and out of the hotel
- Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys and collecting these upon check out
- Dealing with hotel guest questions and requests such as extending their stay, providing information about things to do in the area, refilling room amenities and so on
- Check rooms once housekeeping have cleaned/tidied to uphold high cleaning standard
- Work with the housekeeping team to order cleaning/housekeeping supplies to ensure stock is up to date
- Familiar with fire safety procedures

Key skills:

- Good communication skills and level of English both spoken and written
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong customer service

Please note a degree of flexibility is required in the role. Ideally at least 1 year of experience in the hospitality or customer service industry. Contract with holiday pay and available pension scheme included.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
