**PRU Science Teacher**
Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking for an experienced PRU Science Teacher who can join their school on a full-time basis in September. You will be required to teach small classes of 4-8 students Biology, Physics and Chemistryas some of the students will be working towards their GCSEs. All the students you will be teaching will have been removed from a mainstream school and will show challenging behaviour. You will have support from 2 behaviour mentors throughout the day but dueto the students needs the ideal PRU Science Teacher for this role must have worked in a challenging school previously and have strong classroom management skills.
**Pupil Referral Unit**
This Pupil Referral Unit is located in the borough of Merton and caters for students aged between 10-16 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis due to attendance, behaviour and gang related issues. They currentlyhave 50 students who attend and in their last Ofsted, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
