An opportunity has arisen with a global Insurer who are seeking to recruit a Regulatory Accountant to support Technical Accounting matters across the UK Branch.

Responsiblities:

- Prepare and review statutory financial statements, specifically Solvency II returns.
- Prepare Corporation Tax returns.
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review external financial statements not limited to GAAP (UK/US).
- Maintain the financial controls environment in accordance with SOX.
- Conduct analysis across various performance metrics (production, profitability, expense management and staffing).
- Act as a compliance champion ensuring adherence with established Accounting Policies.

ACCA/CIMA/ACA (Qualified or Part-Qualified to Finalist level)
Ideally have experience of Insurance or wider Financial Services
Good Technical Accounting Knowledge (Financial, Regulatory and Statutory)
Commercial character with strong communication skills
