We are currently seeking a warm, professional and enthusiastic **Food Services Assistant** to join our Staffearn Restaurant team, who’ll help to ensure all of our people are well fed whilst they're at work.

We operate on a variety of shifts to suit the varied demands of the business between the hours of 7am and 8pm.

The on target earning potential for this role is £14.77 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £12.27, plus a qualified estimate of £2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

**Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role**:

- You’ll be delivering fabulous counter service of our daily menus knowledgably and with great warmth to our people
- Preparing for the busy food service periods; replenishing our retail and vending items, always ensuring we’re ready to provide the highest level of service across the restaurant
- Working closely with our chefs, making sure they’re always one step ahead in the preparation of hot food requirements throughout service
- Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of our staff restaurant, equipment and service areas are always achieved
- Supporting your kitchen steward colleagues when required; organising and storing our deliveries, cleaning our food service areas adhering to our sky-high standards
- Interacting with our people, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their visit to us luxurious in every way

**The kind of person**we're looking for**:

- Ideally, you have experience in a similar role with a great customer service skills, however having a great attitude is essential
- Adaptable and receptive to change, you know how to respond to the demands of a busy service
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
