Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid 1/2 days a week in office)

Fantastic opportunity to work with a household name dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Joining an innovative and inspiring team you will be working to detect and respond to vulnerabilities, providing security assurance. Working closely with other departments and 3rd parties you will be responsible for security testing and work to ensure the needs of the wider business are protected. You will be confident in driving improvements and competent in vulnerability management tooling.

**In the role**:

- You will draw on your vulnerability management skills and security consultancy skills to drive forward continuous improvement within the team.
- You will support the team with day-to-day vulnerability management whilst advising on improvements.
- You will provide security assurance and guidance throughout the end-to-end process of the projects within your remit whilst advising on go-live decisions.
- You will constantly seek to modernise practices and drive improvements within the assurance team.
- You will liaise with other departments, building working relationships and spreading security awareness.

**What do you need?**
- You should be a quick learner, comfortable with new technologies and keeping up to speed with everything from mainframes to cloud platforms.
- You will be confident in assessing real-world risk and reporting these risks at all levels.
- You should have a deep knowledge of vulnerabilities and a thorough understanding of both current and past OWASP top 10's.
- An understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST is desirable alongside a good grasp of security assessment exercises (e.g., penetration testing).
- You should be familiar with Agile and SAFe and have experience with SDLC.
- You should have a thirst for security knowledge, a desire to learn and develop within an exciting and innovative company and demonstrate a passion for driving improvement.

**Reward**:
Salary is £45,000 to £55,000 dependent on experience. There is also a very competitive bonus package ranging between 10%- 25%. You will receive 7.2 weeks holiday per annum including bank holidays - plus many, many more company benefits.
