To complete our dedicated care team in our Lynemore Care Home in Grantown on Spey, we are recruiting a number of Night Care Assistants for a variety of part-time and full-time permanent hours.

You will work closely with our residents so it's essential that you have a warm, caring and, above all, patient personality. These post will involve evening and weekend work, based on shifts worked on a rota basis.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Providing the highest level of person centred care and support to our residents
- Assisting with meals
- Engaging in day to day activities and providing companionship
- Providing support to family members
- Working closely with other team members and the management team

About you
- You must have the right to live and work in the UK
- You will have sound knowledge of English and be computer literature
- You will be expected to provide referee contact details for your current place of work and your previous place of work
- You will be expected to have a full PVG upon acceptance of post and to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting the post.

Desired experience and qualifications
- It would be beneficial to have previous care experience - although we believe your attitude to high quality care is more important
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or working towards SVQ level 2
- Knowledge of Health & Social Care standards
